Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it and we say so. This page explains how.

How to report an error

Email [email protected] with the page address and what is wrong. A link to the manufacturer’s page or another source helps us fix it faster. Manufacturers and dealers are welcome to correct facts about their own products. They cannot change our conclusions.

What we do

  • Wrong fact or number: we correct it, link the source, and add a dated correction note to the page.
  • A number we cannot confirm: we remove it, or we label it as unverified and link to where we found it.
  • An article we cannot stand behind (no source, a product that does not exist, or a claim that we tested something): we take it offline until it can be rebuilt from a real source.
  • A repeated story: we keep the first version and remove the repeat.

What we have already corrected

In September 2026 we audited the whole site. We removed mower pages for models that manufacturers never made, corrected specifications against manufacturer pages, took down articles that read as if we had tested products, and renamed headlines so each review names the outlet that wrote it. We will keep doing this in the open.
